Third-grade students at Fountain Woods Elementary explored disability awareness through hands-on activities designed to build understanding, empathy, and inclusion across the school community.

With generous support from the Greenwich Autism Alliance Foundation, Autism New Jersey’s Kids’ Guide to Autism Acceptance is reaching thousands of students across the state. For more than a decade, this family-founded organization has helped expand understanding, inclusion, and access to resources for individuals with autism and their families.

What began with a childhood lemonade stand has grown into years of music-driven fundraising for Autism New Jersey. Now 24, Ava Panza leads her annual “Rock for a Cause” concerts, raising thousands of dollars while helping spread understanding of autism alongside her family and students.

Autism New Jersey joined the Robbinsville Township Police Department for their Breakfast With a Cop event, featuring community demonstrations and a message of inclusion and belonging.

Inspired by her niece Kylah, Yvette Beshier is on a mission to build understanding and acceptance. Through her work as an Autism New Jersey Ambassador, she’s helping others see that when people understand autism, they’re more likely to embrace it.

Autism New Jersey joined Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for an Autism Acceptance Month event, sharing family resources and highlighting Dr. Joe Novak’s presentation on autism across the lifespan and early intervention.
